Terms and Definitions
- SPICE Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis. SPICE was originally developed by the
University of California, Berkeley. It is a modeling tool used by electronic design engineers to determine the
behavior of circuits.
- Analog Modeling A modeling technique that uses SPICE transistor and analog behavioral models.
- CSDF Common Simulation Data Format The format of the simulation results file that is read by DR. SPICE.
- Mixed Signal Simulation The application of different modeling techniques - levels of abstraction - to different
parts of a circuit design.
