Waveforms can also be plotted by selecting parts, pins and/or nets within OrCADs CaptureTM. This is called cross-probing.
1. Within DR. SPICE, from Commands Menu, select Cross Probing.
Enabling DR. SPICE Cross-Probing
2. To enable cross-probing within OrCADs Capture, from the Options Menu, select Preferences.
3. Click on the Miscellaneous tab
4. Check the Enable Intertool Communication box.
5. Click OK.
Enabling Capture Cross-Probing, step 1.
6. From the View Menu, select Physical.
Enabling Capture Cross-Probing, step 2.
7. Within Captures schematic, select the RLOAD part. DR. SPICE responds by plotting the waveform representing the current through RLOAD.
8. Now, within Captures select the IN net. The voltage waveform on IN is plotted by DR. SPICE.

Next, we will run a second circuit file that contains the fixes for the effects of crossover distortion.
9. Within Capture, open the design CKT2.DSN.
OrCAD CKT2.DSN
10. Repeat the section on Running a Simulation, applying it to ckt2.cir. The resulting waveforms are:
