Zooming and Windowing

Zooming is done via the left mouse button. The user puts the cursor at a corner of the area to be zoomed into. Pressing and holding down the left mouse button, the mouse is moved so that the rectangle encloses the area to be zoom into. Finally releasing the left mouse button will cause the zoom to occur.

All the zooming is saved in a buffer. The user can cycle through this buffer using the arrow keys of the keyboard.

• The up arrow cycles to the first window in the buffer.
• The down arrow cycles to the last window in the buffer.
• The right arrow cycles to the next window in the buffer.
• The left arrow cycles to the previous window in the buffer.

Under the Window menu you will see the four zoom buffer operations that correspond to the arrow keys. See "Set Plot Parameters".
