Deutsch is looking for an exceptional Social Project Manager to help build and operate organic social content for a portfolio of iconic food brands. This role is ideal for a highly organized, creatively minded project manager who understands how social content gets made, and knows how to move work from brief to published post quickly, thoughtfully, and with strong attention to brand, platform, and production details.
You’ll work across strategy, creative, account, community management, business affairs, design, motion, and external production partners to deliver high-quality content primarily for Instagram and TikTok.
What You’ll Do
- Lead project management for organic social content from initial brief through final asset delivery and publishing.
- Translate creative briefs, reactive opportunities, and editorial calendars into clear production plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects at once, including always-on content, tentpole moments, influencer content, campaign adaptations, and short-form video.
- Produce static posts, carousels, video, and platform-specific adaptations using internal teams, external partners, creators, and emerging tools.
- Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, copywriters, designers, motion designers, strategists, community managers, and account teams.
- Help develop social-first concepts, captions, storyboards, creator briefs, and production treatments.
- Identify opportunities to make content more timely, entertaining, culturally relevant, and platform appropriate.
- Identify and manage production partners, creators, editors, animators, photographers, and other specialists.
- Coordinate estimates, schedules, scopes, rights, releases, deliverables, post-production, and final trafficking.
- Work with Business Affairs on talent, licensing, usage, and production requirements.
- Flag union, talent, voiceover, licensing, legal, regulatory, accessibility, and brand-safety considerations early.
- Coordinate with integrated agency partners when work intersects with influencer, paid media, PR, shopper, or campaign activity.
- Maintain editorial calendars, production trackers, and organized project files.
- Prepare content for client review, manage revisions, and help keep approvals moving.
- Establish repeatable production workflows, templates, timelines, and review processes.
- Contribute to quarterly planning, performance discussions, and content optimization.
- Stay current on social platforms, creator practices, cultural moments, production tools, and emerging technologies.
- Help teams use AI-enabled tools responsibly while maintaining brand accuracy, human judgment, and appropriate review.
- Deliver work on time, on budget, and at the quality level expected by the client and agency.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in agency, brand, project management, production, or social production roles.
- Demonstrated experience producing social-first content for Instagram, TikTok, and other major platforms.
- A reel, portfolio, or examples of work demonstrating strong social production judgment.
- Experience managing projects from creative development through post-production and final delivery.
- Strong understanding of social formats, platform specifications, content calendars, and short-form video workflows.
- Experience working with designers, motion teams, editors, photographers, creators, influencers, and external production partners.
- Understanding of budgets, estimates, scopes, production schedules, licensing, usage, and talent considerations.
- Exceptional organization and the ability to manage multiple timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Curiosity about new production technologies, including AI-enabled creative tools.
- Ability to listen, learn quickly, ask smart questions, and apply feedback.
- A resourceful, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Experience with consumer packaged goods, food, lifestyle, sports, entertainment, or culturally relevant brands is a plus.
You’ll Thrive Here If You
- Know when an idea needs polish, and when it needs to move now.
- Bring structure to creative ambition without slowing the work down.
- Bring good judgment, positive energy, and a genuine desire to make better work.
