The Analyses Menu is used to configure analysis types and run a simulation.
Analyses Menu
If an Analysis menu item is selected and the corresponding analysis is already in the Spice deck, the analysis in the Spice deck is used as defaults to the Analysis dialog. The analysis parameters can be modified. Clicking on OK will then run the analysis.
The RUN menu item will run all the analyses found in the Spice deck.
The "Create Model from Datasheet" will create models (and place them into the .out file) for all .datasheet lines.
At this point you have the option of selecting your preferences prior to running the simulation. For DR. SPICE users using the new Robot feature, you may disregard this section below.
Under the Commands=>Preferences... menu item is the option to set Marching waveforms.
Preferences Dialog Box
When the "Marching Waveforms" box is check and then an analysis is run, the user is prompted to choose the waveforms to be viewed marching along as the simulation proceeds.
"Select waveforms to VIEW during simulation" Dialog Box
After selecting the waveforms and clicking OK, the simulation runs to completion.
The simulation and the marching of waveforms can be stopped at any time by hitting the F4 key.
