Beer advertising has become overly stylized, and fraught with clichés. To stay true to the Busch brand, we went back to its roots—good, old-fashioned beer ads that make you laugh and move beer off shelves.
So we brought back one of the most beloved parts of the old Busch ads—the BUSCHHHHH can crack. To kick-start our effort, we launched during the Super Bowl in a way that’s true to Busch. While everyone else was fixated on over-the-top stunts surrounding their spots, Busch kept it simple. Our spot was accompanied by the Busch Guy interacting one-on-one with our Busch fans—oh, and now BUSCHHHHH beer is moving off the shelves.
